There is as much prospect in what I find as in what finds me.

Materials include cut logs from fallen oak and ash trees, plastic zip ties, painted leaves, dead insects, wire, wood chips, floor sweepings, a wasp nest, feathers, spray foam, rocks, aluminum dowels, leaves, etc.

These works host colonies of lichen that change complexion according to temperature and moisture levels in the air.

***Lichen colonies host highly resilient populations a micro-animals called Tardigrades that can survive the extreme conditions of outer space.
